Cooking has been a love of mine as far back as I can remember, starting with my Easy Bake Oven. Saturday morning fun meant serving breakfast in bed to my parents. Cooking was a family affair growing up. I have fond memories of helping in the kitchen with my mom and grandmother, learning secret family recipes. My parents always said, "figure out your passion and find a way to make a living at it.” So, here I am!
As I grew older, I moved on from the Easy Bake Oven, but continued to hone my skills cooking for family and friends. Eventually, I enrolled in The Art Institute - Seattle, Culinary Arts School.
After graduation, I launched Kitchen Door. Originally, I focused solely on personal chef clients; however, as my business grew, I contemplated, “How can I have more of my delicious cuisine into peoples’ homes?” Then the thought came to me... meal delivery.
I know people come home from work tired, stressed, and just wanting something delicious and healthy to eat, but do not having the time or energy to prepare it. I knew I could help these individuals by providing nourishing and mouth-watering meals they could simply heat and enjoy. What could be easier, or more delicious?
The dinner hour is an endangered species. I know hectic schedules, nonstop email, and texting are cutting into precious family time. Stop eating on the run. Sit down to a wholesome, home-delivered meal together. Reconnect, laugh, and yes, eat! Dinner's ready when you are.

On a personal note, I enjoy the outdoors and everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer; skiing, hiking, boating, and spending time with my husband John, family and friends. I am involved in various philanthropic endeavors. I volunteer time with my local Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club and I am a proud WSU alumna.
